This website is operated by a loan request and matching service. The information below applies to every page, every request, and every offer you may see through our service.
We are not a lender
Our service is not a lender, loan broker, or agent of any lender. We do not make loans, issue credit, or set rates, fees, or terms; we pass your request to independent lenders and partners that may offer you a loan.
Submitting a request does not mean you have applied for a loan with any particular lender, and it does not mean you will receive an offer. Any loan you accept is a contract between you and that lender only. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for the lender's actions.
We make no credit decisions
Every lending decision, including approval, loan amount, APR, fees, and repayment term, is made solely by the lender that reviews your request, using its own underwriting rules and the information you provide.
Lenders may consider your credit history, income, debt-to-income ratio, employment, state of residence, and bank account activity. We have no control over these decisions and cannot change an outcome after a lender makes it. We cannot promise that you will be approved, that you will receive a specific rate, or that funds will arrive by a specific date.
How we are compensated
Participating lenders and partners pay us when we deliver a qualified request or when a borrower connects with them. We do not charge consumers any fee for using our request form or for receiving offers.
Compensation may be a flat amount per request or a payment tied to a funded loan. Some lenders may also buy requests that another lender in the network could not serve, and they may share your information with their own partners as described in our privacy policy.
How compensation may affect which offers appear
Compensation can influence which lenders receive your request first and the order in which offers are shown. A lender paying more may appear more often or higher on the page, so the first offer is not always the lowest cost.
Our network does not include every lender or every loan product available in the market. For a fair comparison, look at the APR, total of payments, and fees of each offer, and consider checking with your bank or a local credit union. Our editorial guides are written independently, and lenders do not pay to influence their content.
APR range and repayment terms
Lenders in our network typically offer APRs from about 5.99% to 35.99% with repayment terms from 3 to 36 months, and some may offer up to 60 months. Origination fees, where charged, usually range from 0% to 10%.
The APR you receive depends on your credit profile, income, loan amount, term, and state. Borrowers with lower credit scores generally receive higher APRs. Some lenders may offer rates outside this range where state law permits. Late payments can result in late fees and reporting to credit bureaus, and non-payment may lead to collection activity.
Representative example: a $3,000 loan repaid over 24 months at 17.99% APR has an estimated monthly payment of about $150 and an estimated total repaid of about $3,594, including about $594 in interest. These figures are estimates only and assume no origination fee; your lender sets the actual terms. You can model other scenarios with our personal loan calculator or review typical pricing on our rates page.
Not available in all states
Loan availability, maximum amounts, APR limits, and terms vary by state law, and some lenders do not operate in every state. Our service may not be available to residents of certain states.
A lender may offer a different amount than you requested to comply with the rules where you live. You must be a U.S. resident, at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska), and meet each lender's own requirements.
Credit inquiry disclosure
By submitting a request, you authorize participating lenders and partners to obtain your credit report. Many use a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score, but some may perform a hard inquiry.
A hard inquiry may lower your score by a few points and stays on your credit report for up to two years. Lenders typically perform a hard inquiry before final approval and will disclose this during their application. Lenders may also check alternative data sources, such as specialty consumer reporting agencies used for bank account and identity verification.
No fees to consumers
Using our service is free for consumers. We never charge a fee to submit a request, compare offers, or contact our support team, and we never ask you to pay anything upfront to receive a loan.
If anyone claiming to represent us asks for an upfront payment, gift card, or wire transfer, do not pay. That is a common scam. Please report it to us at [email protected] or (888) 296-0218.
