Our service is a free online loan request and matching platform. We collect the information you submit and share it with independent lenders and partners that may offer personal loans from $500 to $5,000.
We also publish educational guides, calculators, and tools. The service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.
Eligibility to use the service
To submit a request, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state), a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, legally able to enter a contract, and submitting the request for yourself.
Lenders set their own additional requirements, such as minimum income, an active checking account, and residence in a state where they lend. Meeting our eligibility rules does not mean any lender will make you an offer. For an overview of common lender criteria, see our eligibility page.
No lender relationship
Our service is not a lender and does not make credit decisions, issue loans, or act as an agent for you or any lender. Any loan agreement you sign is solely between you and the lender.
The lender sets all rates, fees, terms, and conditions and is responsible for disclosures required by law. We do not endorse any particular lender, and we cannot promise that you will be matched, approved, or offered any particular rate, amount, or term. Your obligations as a user
You agree to provide information that is true, current, and complete, to submit requests only for yourself, and to use the site lawfully without interfering with its operation or other users.
Specifically, you agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, or another person's information;
- use automated tools to scrape, copy, or submit data to the site;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or partner systems;
- upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service;
- use the site or its content for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
Submitting false information to obtain credit may be a crime under federal and state law. We may refuse service or cancel a request if we suspect misuse.
Consent to calls, texts, and emails
By submitting a request, you agree that we and our participating lenders and partners may contact you at the phone number and email you provide, including through automated dialing systems, prerecorded messages, and text messages, about your request and related offers.
You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the phone number you provide. Your consent to receive marketing calls and texts is not a condition of obtaining any loan or service. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text, using the unsubscribe link in any email, telling a caller that you no longer wish to be contacted, or contacting our support team. Revoking consent with us does not revoke consent you gave directly to a lender; contact that lender separately.
Authorization to obtain credit information
Submitting a request authorizes us and participating lenders and partners to verify your identity and obtain consumer reports, including credit reports, from credit bureaus and specialty reporting agencies to evaluate your request.
Many lenders begin with a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. A lender may perform a hard inquiry before final approval, and it will disclose this to you during its application.
Disclaimers
The site, its content, and the service are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Our guides and calculators provide general education, not financial, legal, or tax advice. Rates, payment examples, and figures are estimates, and the lender sets the actual terms. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Please consult a qualified professional about your specific situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, the service, or any loan you obtain from a lender.
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, or policies of any lender or partner. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
Intellectual property
All content on the site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal use only.
Governing law and disputes
Illinois law governs these terms, without regard to conflict of law rules, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sangamon County, Illinois.
You and we agree to try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other first. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the revised version takes effect when posted on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
